HIGHLIGHTS IN MPUMALANGA:
BLYDE RIVER CANYON
Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world. Blyde River translates to River of Joy. Bourkes Luck Potholes are found where the Treur River (River of Sorrow) joins the Blyde River at the start of the Blyde River Canyon. Bourkes Luck Potholes, are a breathtaking site which showcase waters power to shape a landscape, where centuries of river activity have carved out dramatic rock formations and pools. There is an entrance fee to the facility and is open from 08:00 am to 16:00 pm. Be on the lookout for baboons as they roam freely around this area.
BOURKE'S LUCK POTHOLES
Bourke’s Luck Potholes in Mpumalanga province are a series of natural geological formations that seem nearer to art than nature. Formed by centuries of water flowing through the landscape, this natural attraction is made up of inter-connected pools, interlaced with sandstone outcrops.These natural sculptures are named after a prospector, Tom Bourke, who hoped to find gold at this site. He was unsuccessful, but other prospectors had more luck in the area.
GOD'S WINDOW
The Zenith of the Panorama Route, this is such a picturesque view point that it has been called “God’s Window”, due to the sheer natural beauty contained in one view. Uniquely located North of Graskop, while standing at this view point you get a beautiful view of the panoramic lowveld. You will be able to view the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. However you will have to hike up the narrow pathway along the escapement to actually see the view point.

The route includes, The Three Rondavels, God's Window, the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, starts at Sabie and ends at Hazyview.
The Panorama Route, which encompasses Bourke’s Luck Potholes as well as the dramatic vistas, waterfalls, hiking trails, historic sites and lush vegetation between the towns of Graskop and Ohrigstad, has many historic sites and natural attractions to explore.
